West Buckland Mixed A Team Win
Congratulations to the A team - Doug, Claire, Craige, Jeanette, Stan and Hannah who won the 2013/2014 North Devon League Mixed Division 2 title.
They didn't get off to the best start with an 8-1 loss in their opening match away to Halwill but grew strong after that and knew that if they could have a big win in their last match at home to Halwill that the title would be theirs. It was an impressive display of nerve as they managed to reverse the score line and win 8-1 themselves.
The other teams didn't do quite so well with Mixed B and Medley A coming bottom of their divisions and Medley B and Mens coming in 4th.
Well done to all those who took part in the league this year and helping to make it so much fun.
